The WGRC summer day camp operates for 10 weeks during summer vacation from school.  Our program is registered with the Ohio Department of Human Services, and is available to children going into kindergarten through 8th grade.  It is located at the WGRC camp facility off Cedar Road in Chesterland, adjacent to the West Geauga Middle School.  Campers can attend for as little as one week, or for the entire summer.  The day camp is priced to be competitive with other child care alternatives, but keeps children active and outdoors, having fun under supervised conditions.

The day camp is staffed by an adult director and college and high school-aged counselors and lifeguards.  Camp hours are 9 am through 3 pm Monday through Friday, except for the July 4th holiday.  Optional before care and after care are available from 7-9 am and from 3-6 pm for families needing extended care for their children.

Campers enjoy a variety of outdoor activities and projects, including swimming, nature exploration, woods and trails, sports and games, crafts, and entertainment.  Middle school campers also have weekly field trips.  Each weekly session features a different fun and exciting theme.
